The database of audio fingerprints and metadata is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License, with the exception of the MusicBrainz–AcoustID mapping, which is released under CC0 1.0.
The source code for the server application including this website ("AcoustID") is licensed under the MIT License, and the client library for calculating audio fingerprints ("Chromaprint") is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License 2.1.
